How to improve Logical Reasoning for CAT via Online CAT Preparation

Online CAT Preparation
If you are preparing for CAT, a site based on puzzles and logical questions might not be that great an idea. You would be much better placed by simply preparing for CAT.

I would suggest that you do a Sudoku daily. It will help you build an aptitude for logic. Don't get too addicted to it as that would defeat the purpose. :) One a day is all you need.

To actually prepare for Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning for CAT, I recommend that you use one of the following:

1. Online Courses - My online course for CAT is available on Handa Ka Funda here:
It covers all Quant and LR topics from basics. Also, I have solved previous year CAT questions on video to help students learn the tricks involved in the same.

2. Coaching Institute Material - Do have a look at material provided by IMS, TIME, and Career Launcher for Quant & LR. They have small books focused on these topics which are really helpful and cover a variety of topics. TIME material for LR is a bit too tough for CAT, so take it with a pinch of salt.

3. Previous Year Papers - You really need to have a look at previous year CAT papers to understand what kind of questions gets asked in CAT. Puzzles and logic problems are fun to do but they should not be a top priority if you are preparing for CAT.

4. Books - Couple of books that I like for LR is Gajendra's Koncepts of LR (yes - it is spelled that way - :) ) and The Pearson Guide by Nishit Sinha. Pick one of them up if you are really worried about LR.
